Tynemouth Plaza

Tynemouth Plaza was built in 1878 and originally housed an aquarium and winter gardens along with other leisure facilities. The uses of the building changed over the years with it being used as a theatre and a nightclub as well as providing seaside amusements. The building was destroyed in a fire in 1996.
